As Officer in Charge of these high profile assignment he amassed a wealth of specialized training, knowledge and experience which prepared him well for the new security challenges he face today.  Specialized training through the International Association of Chiefs of Police in the areas of International Terrorism, Advanced Special Weapons and Tactics, Advanced Hostage Negotiations, Critical Incident Management, SWAT Supervisors Tactics and Management, High-Risk Warrant Service and Tactics, and Executive Protection, to name a few.

Some of his most notable executive protection assignments include assisting the U.S. State Department in protecting Presidents Ronald Reagan, and George H.W. Bush, South Africa’s President Nelson Mandela, and Bishop Desmond Tutu in visits to the Detroit area.

Mr. Teamer has a Master’s degree in Security Administration, from the University of Detroit, a B.S. degree in Criminal Justice from Wayne State University, and is a graduate of  Northwestern University – School of Police Staff and Command.

Mr. Teamer is Board Certified as a Certified Protection Professional (CPP), by the American Society for industrial Security, Certified in Homeland Security (CHS), by the American College of Forensic Examiners International.  Certified Instructor in Chemical Munitions, and Distraction Devices, by DEF-TEC International.  Certified First Responder Awareness HAZMAT, by the State of Michigan, Certified Alarm Installer, by the National Alarm Association of America, and a Certified Alarm Technician, by the National Burglar and Fire Alarm Association, and the Security Industry Association.

Mr. Teamer continues to stay abreast of the latest information, trends and technology in crime prevention through training seminars and meetings sponsored by the many professional organizations in which he maintains membership.  He finds some of the best minds in the security industry at these functions.  He also maintain a close relationship with his past employer the Detroit Police Department and receives training and updates in the areas of advanced crime prevention and advanced security solutions on a regular basis.
